Dish DVR getting error 122 intermittanly

My Dish DVR 522 would flash on the screen "internal communications error" error 122 every couple minutes. (5 to 10 minutes)

I have it hooked up to a Dish1000 dish and ran test switch.

what is this error? it's annoying....thanks!
