DISH delivers Netflix and new Vevo app

Seems to confirm that the Vevo app requires S520 software but that it's not part of the update itself.

We got S520 on 4/10 and Vevo didn't start rolling out until yesterday, 4/14, so I think you're right.

It's Vevo. Vivo is a telecommunications company in Brazil.

With Vevo, you must register with them. You can do that online. I have not used the app on the HWS yet but you might be able to do it with a number that Dish gives you on the Hopper. I think it is free.

Edit: Just tried Vevo on HWS and it just starts playing. You don't have to do anything (no registration).

I was checking out Vevo on the web yesterday, and their ad was constantly looping and trying to draw my attention. Does the Vevo app do this as well?

This will be cool as I will not have to go on youtube on computer to view the videos, can see it on my bigscreen instead. I imagine they will have ads before each video that plays though. Wish they had youtube app.

just got the new software this morning checking out vevo it aint bad as you think i wish there were more bluegrass artists on there oh well.

i checked on vevo there are two bluegrass videos up there i wish there were more on there .there are lots of bluegrass stations on tunein i listed to one called WAMU bluegrass country and they are out of washington dc and they play all the new releases come to them they download from a service for radio stations called airplay direct where radio stations can download all the new bluegrass or any other genre releases usually the same day they are put up.i listen for all the new releases and i contact a dj to let them know that the new bluegrass release is up there and the dj who works for the staitons downloads the album or single and gets it up on air for all of us to listen to.with sriusxm bluegrass junction Kyle Cantrell only gets cds from the record companies and airplay direct is the fastest way to get your cds up there.siriusxm bluegrass junction is very slow and i mean way slow to get new releases up.i did the best i can to explain to you guys.

H2 will be replaced by Vice
