ordering dish network and I own two houses that are about 8 feet away from each other and grandmother lives in one and I live in both of them. I ordered the Voom package and will it be impossible for me to have HD voom channels in both houses because I know you need a second dish for voom. I am ordering 3 recievers and I would like to run one to the other house

You can have hd in both with 2 811's the easiet way, however you may be facing a hurdle to have the third receiver placed in the second house as dish requires all receivers to basicly be in one residance. If one of the receivers is not at the service address then it is supposed to be on a seperate account and pay full price for the programming. Your best bet is to contact a local dealer as they may be more willing to set you up in the fashion your looking for than a dishnetwork technician would.

An E* tech will not conect both homes so do what Van suggested you do or have the E* tech just install everything in one and then add a length of RG6 to move one over to the other house. (2 if your installing a 2 tuner unit). You may need to send a phone line with it if your going to use PPV.

50% Of HDTV Owners Dont Use HD

Anyone else VOOM channels all messed up?
