I have Dish that works fine inside, but one box is located under an outdoor kitchen area and the box rarely has a signal. Most of the time it says complete signal loss. This happens always at night. The box is a 722 just like inside, and DISH has been out about 4 times to fix it and never can get it right. Please help. The distance from the junction box on the side of the house is about 150 feet.

Tell us about the 150' run from the 722 to the junction box and what is written on that "junction box"?

i will have to look when i get home. i am referring to the main splitter or box that Dish mounts on the outside of my home. my outside cooking area is about 150 feet from there. there is a 722 box located at the outdoor kitchen and the TV is hooked up with an HDMI cable.

First swap receivers to verify that lack of signal is the problem, not a defective receiver.

If the problem remains at the outdoor area, put up another D1000.2 or whatever the other dish is nearby and run it to this receiver, or see if your Dish man has an inline amplifier for the satellite cable.

Amplified Booser? Sounds like an old friend I used to hang with back in the 80s. He loved to get all tweaked up on some kind of illegal substance and then drink himself under the table.:D

If you will post some usable information I'm sure we can try and help you but searching for a boozing amplifier won't get helpful answers.

Before you swap, replace, or spend a ton of money.. Check the cable connections (ie barrels, connectors). Most of the problems like this are cable related. I have systems working well over 200 feet with no issues.. No amplifier required.

Question about using reciever as SD and single tuner/dvr

Just downloaded software version 222.
