Me too! I'm happy to pay Dish employees their pay raise for the year....My bill went up $7. $5 for 250 and $2 for Multi sport.

$5 dollars does not seem much at face value. But for an xtra $60 a year, what are you really getting?
It's over a 5% increase! When you are living on a fixed income it is a lot and is much more than the negative inflation the CPI is showing!

Seriously. Who cares who's raising rates more or when they do it. The only thing that matters is the final price. Who has the lowest price after all promotions and equipment fees? Dish is generally at the top of that list and that all that really matters. If you want the cheapest rates possible then switch providers every other year and quit your complaining. It's as simple as that.
I like this interpretation. You do not sound bitter at all about the loss, but excited for the new day. You saw and opportunity an you took it, and I am sure that in the future if you ever want to come back, Dish may be on your mind. No hostility one way or the other, and a all around great view on things.Agreed!
Had been a loyal satellite junkie for years, but it just did not not seem cost effective anymore. Satellite, internet, and home phone has just gone up too much.
Never thought we would ever sub to cable tv, but looking to save some money, we decided to give the $89 bundle a try.
It is pretty amazing. Again, like with dish, we own all our own equipment. This helps keep the price in check- unlike with dish anymore. TWC has come a long way in recent years, and the HD is better than the 722 or 211. A lot more channels than at120, too.
Schermann has it right. If you are not happy, look into alternatives. Sh*t or get off the pot. So far we have no regrets. We are saving almost $100/mo and have more channels, 2x internet speeds, and crystal clear home phone.
Never thought it would happen. Sad to leave dish, but it is what it is.

That's just good business right there. I'm sure if someone asks too, you'll recommend Dish to them.Yes, dish would be at the top of the list!
