Title pretty much sums it up.I now know the Hopper 3 can stream locals with a firestick but will a Duo?

No a Duo does not have the Sling Technology built in which is used for Dish Anywhere.
From what I understand (looking at dishanywhere on my phone)I can get everything but my locals on a firestick and I have a 622.What is unique about sling and locals?
The Sling takes the locals and encodes them and sends them out on the internet to your Dish Anywhere device.
