Dish Anywhere DVR viewing on Computer

...I've had issues with the web Dish Anywhere long before U511 was released.
Me too. But my Dish Anywhere issues got much worse (e.g. unable to even log in and see the guide when using Firefox on a Mac) after the U511 update to the Hopper 3 and the Hopper 3 “U511 look” updates to Dish Anywhere (e.g. the red underlines in the guide. etc.). Apparently the Dish software engineers/ managers haven’t learned that updating too many things at the same time is a recipe for issues that are harder to find/fix.

FWIW I can log in to DA again using Safari AND Firefox. Wonder how long it will last this time ;(

Edit: And the answer is — less time than it took to type the above post. I can still log in to DA with both Safari and Firefox, but neither one will display my recordings or Prime Time Anytime -- again :(

I've found Dish Anywhere to be extremely unreliable - seen this before many times.
My solution was switching to a Fire Stick with the DA app on it. MUCH better experience overall, and better streaming too.

I am grateful for all you folks on the bleeding edge. This time I am sitting back patiently waiting for you to report that 511 DA is working perfectly on PCS before I bother to even try it again. That should provide a day or two to enjoy it before 512.

It's working. My DVR is grey boxes instead of tiles, but it's the right recordings

Ah yes, the 512 upgrade. That will be the one that turns the H3 into a dual-tuner standard-def DVR with a red recording-in-progress light.

I see the same problems. Dish Anywhere just sticks!

On top of it all, I just upgraded my MAC to OSX 10.13.4, which is the last OS that will support 32 bit apps. And, yes, guess what? The Dish Anywhere player is flagged as a 32 bit app meaning it hasn't even compiled or updated in over THREE years!

Common Dish!!!
