Dish anywhere buffering

I was away from home, try to use dish anywhere on a med. Internet connection. Got on,guide works great. Started to watch a show, no good, started okay, then got worst.
Is there anyway to buffer the connection the connection on am iPad/iPhone?

Buffering work really well on the roku box and Netflix. I would start the download, pause for a few minutes, watch the show.

I do not have the lasted hopper, so I can not use play later.

I hope for some buffering.

There is no buffering option that I know OT. You are basically controlling a tuner remotely. Not downloading content to your device.
