I currently have a Dishnet Legacy 500 dish driving two IRDs for Dish Network. I would like to try adding Bev. I have a second Legacy 500 dish to use for Bev. But my dishes are located 350 ft from house. For the Charlie set up I am running two RG11 cables which give me a 115 strength signal with almost no signal loss. As RG11 is really expensive I am wondering if I could combine the output of the two dishes with SW21 switches at the pole, run the signal for both dishes through the two RG11 cables I have, and use a 2x4 multiswitch to then feed the two Charlie IRDs and two Bev IRDs.
Has anyone tried this?
I know you can comine various dishes pointed at Charlie sats with the sw21s. And they both use the same IRDs with different software.
Thanks

no. it will not work

a sw21 combines 2 Dish Network OR 2 Bell ExpressVu satellite locations together. Since you are working with 2 different systems, you would need 2 dishes and separate lines run for each system
