Dish activating EHD for free?

So those of us who already paid to activate EHD on a 622 just got hosed out of $40. Thanks.

Well, pricing change is quite common in all industries and some of those who were early adopters will feel offended when it occurs. However, I did not want to wait 2-3 years for the FREE activation, and so the ability to archive the TON of content was well worth the $40 to enjoy and benefit from the feature for that last few YEARS.

So, when a restaurant decided to either drop the price or add value to the same pried meal, such as throwing in a free drink or other beverage at a huge discount and now provide the after muffin at no charge, do we feel HOSED then. after having paid the higher priced or lower valued deal meal??? Do we feel hosed when Denny's decides to bring back the $2 breakfast after we have been paying $6 for it the last 9 months? Are we HOSED when a store drops the price on an electronic item/toy after we just paid full retail two weeks ago? That is life in the free market economy. By that reasoning, we would NEVER have ANY decrease in pricing nor increase in value, but would always have to pay the high price no matter what. That's a lot like the Socialists who want to tear everybody DOWN to the same low level (misery loves company), rather than lifting everyone UP to the higher level (prices going down and value going up). People can have strange perceptions.

Need Help, Attached WD external Drive this Morning to my 211. HD detected, checked for compatibility, came back that EHD not compatible, need size between 50GB and 1TB, mine is 1.5 TB. Any work around the size issue or do I need to buy a smaller one?

Thank you
