It must use internal memory in the receiver because I tried loading a USB memory stick but it would only take 66 of the 72 photos I had on the stick. Came up with a message that said not enough memory for all photo's. I thought it would record to the hard drive.

I have just uploaded 800+ photos to my 942 and arranged them in 11 folders. No problems so far. I haven't encountered any limitations!

The only disappointment is that the picture quality is not HD. More like DVD.

Is recording time reduced when you add pictures?

I didn't check. My guess is that the effect should be minimal if any: the hard drive is 250 GB and I have only uploaded less than 1/2 GB in pictures... 5 HD minutes?

How can they release these new versions, do they not even check this stuff? how do you miss audio drop outs...
