Dish 500

I was wondering if the Invacom linear/circular Lnb would allow me to recieve
the FTA channels and the dish network channels with just one dish. And
run two cables from the lnb to my Coolsat (for FTA) and my Dish receiver for
the paid programs. I would have to buy a HH motor I realize. Has anyone
done this, or similar? My present dish network dish is going to have to be
moved, because of the tree growth since I had it installed years ago. If this
would work I could simply use the one dish for both systems. Any feed back
or Ideas would be welcome. Thanks

Dish500 is too small for FTA...you need at least a 30" dish or greater

my current FTA dish is an old primestar that is a 39 inch oval. this would
be the dish that I would put the Invacom lnb on. If I can make the dish
fit the HH motor. If not I may have to buy a bigger dish also. Any suggestions?

Thanks for getting back. I will order the HH motor, and the Invacom LNB. Is there
any books out there on FTA, or satellite systems in general that I newbie like me
would benifit from?
