I was thinking of trying this when I aquired a Dish 500 from a garage sale. The dish was in the trash pile so I picked it up.

I wanted to try this:

119 and 110 are 9 degrees apart. Therefore,
I wanna hit the threshold and use it for 119 and 129. I know this is 1 degree more than the separation but I figured it could possibly work with some tweaking on the angles. I wanna get NASA and the Miami locals, (spotbeam) on 119 and the one FTE channel from 129 on the Dish 500.

Could this work?

I'm not so sure it will work. 129 has an oddball footprint and south florida might be out of it. I know they don't sell D1000 in South Florida. The old 129 satellite use to be at 110 so when they moved the satellite it cuts out in the NE/S Florida and parts of south Texas.

Try and peak on 129 though....elevation/azimuth/skew setup would be for 124.5

The colored areas apparently cannot get 129 (or its very weak)

it's not too much of a big deal. If I can consolidate the circular material into the 500, then I can eliminate the circular LNB @ 129 on the World Direct dish and add a linear for 129 (White Springs) therefore being able to eliminate the dedicated 129 linear dish and use it for AMC-1. (103)

I received these Miami channels crystal clear on my 75cm dish when I lived in North Port, Florida (below Sarasota) on the West side.

it isnt a secret. They've been posted on Lyngsat for a long time (damn maybe 2 years now). Only people who can get them are within the Miami spotbeam

Can you tell me if using dish 500 can I see also FTA channels?
In Europe I had a similar supplier and I can saw beside his package and other channels.
