Dish 300 dual Lnb and Dvr 625 setup

When I change channels some time it will give me error of signal and than if I go thru Guid it will work.

I have dish 300 dual Lnb (pointed at 61.5) one cable goes to room1 and other to room2. I have install the DVR 625 on room1 with philips digitial spliter (5 to 2300 Mhz) (cable from LNB goes to spliter and two cables from spliter goes to SAT1 and SAT2)

Sorry but your splitter is your problem. A DISH dual tuner receiver needs 2 lines from the dish to the receiver. Because you are using only 1 dish you may be able to use a Directv multiswitch. If you are using legacy LNB you can use both outputs of the dual connected to the multiswitch then 2 lines to the 625 and 1 line to room 2 from a 3X4 multiswitch.

Correction if you are using a DISH DP dual LNB you can use a DP Splitter 950-2150 p/n 120341.

It would probably be best if you purchased a Dish500 with a DPP LNB.

Advantages:

- much better signal
- single wire all the way
- no assumptions about what combination of signal deadening accessories you need to install
- no goofy mounting adapters required

500 dish is designed for two focal points that arent centered on the dish, a 300 is designed for an offset center focal into the lnbf and will deliver a better signal than trying to use a 500 with an "I" adapter.

All he needs a dishpro plus dual lnbf and a seperator to do what he's trying to do now and all will be good. dishstore.net should have the lnbf as dish stopped making them in 05.

or you can do like my trailer park install. take the dp dual feed. put it into the input of dpp twin. take small jumper from output of the dpp twin, and hook it up with saperator. and just leave the dpp twin behind the reciever.

DPP Dual? Never seen or heard of one. The one time I 'needed' one I just used a DPP twin. One side was hitting 61.5 the other wasn't hitting anything. Worked just fine.
