Dish 1000?

Where can I buy a Dish 1000? I just called E* and Tech Support said they are available for sale through retailers as of 2 September. I can't believe Tech Support would spread inaccurate information. Anyway, does anyone know when the Dish 1000 will be available for retail sale?

Half of my DC locals (major networks) are on 110 and the other half are on 61.5 (PBS, PAX, etc.) so I took advantage of the free 2nd dish for the VOOM HD channels. First, what are the odds of E* moving my 61.5 locals over to 110/119/129? Second, regardless of how many dishes one may use, don't all locals have to be received with a single dish? Finally, assuming E* were to move DC locals from 61.5 to 129...would E* be required to foot the bill for a Dish 1000?
Regarding my previous post, Richmond VA locals are now being mirrored (105/129) and Significantly Viewed channels in my area are as follows:

Spotsylvania & Fredericksburg City
WRC-TV, 4, Washington, DC
WTTG, 5, Washington, DC
WJLA-TV, 7, Washington, DC (formerly WMAL)
WUSA, 9, Washington, DC (formerly WTOP)
WTVR-TV, 6, Richmond, VA
WRLH-TV, 35, Richmond, VA

Would I be incorrect in assuming that E* has no choice but to move the DC locals off of 61.5 and supply me with a Dish 1000 in order to comply with the "Single Dish" and "Significantly Viewed" requirements? If so, wouldn't they also be required to mirror VOOM HD channels on 129 or provide me with a DPP44 switch, free of charge, in order to see all 4 sats?

Significantly viewed is not a requirement, so they don't have to do anythere for you there. And Voom does not fall anywhere near the single dish requirement. The requirement is that ALL of your LOCAL channels can be viewed using the same dish (whether that dish is your main or secondary dish). Significantly Viewed and/or Voom enter nowhere into that equation.
But Dish could take back the 61.5 dish if they set you up with a Dish 1000 though, as you got it free for locals which would now be served with the 1000, and leave you Voom-less.

Well unless you cant waite untill MPEG4 I would not buy a second dish. Due to most likey next year everyone will go back to only needing one.

Yeah, but that one is going to have to be a superdish of some variety.

The VOOM channels are on the Dish1000 now (129 satellite).
