I recently had my DISH 1000 dish installed on the front of my townhouse. My association hasn't complained yet, due to the fact they are scared of me as we have had some battles in which they lost. But I don't like where it is and on the day of the installation it was snowing and cold and the installer didn't want climb on my roof which I can't blame him. I live in a Aurora, IL about 40 miles west of Chicago. I want to move my dish to my deck where a plan to use the pole in a bucket of cement approach. I can bolt the bucket to my deck and stabilize the pole with the deck rail. I have a 10' pole but I think I'll knock 2' off. I have a clear line of site to the satellites. So, my question is if I just take the dish from its current location and point it correctly without adjusting the skew or elevation will I be OK?
