After waiting for about a month (well, longer than that) I just had my 1000+ installed. The installed kept the 500 mast and put on the 1000+, said that is typical (however I thought I read that wasn't recommended).

Anyway, first, when I go to Check Switch, then click on Details (622 receiver) for both Satellite Input 1 and 2 I have two messages:
The NON bandstacked QUAD on port 1 is not support as a diseqc device
The NON bandstacked QUAD on port 2 is not support as a diseqc device

Switch status: Connected to a DPP 44 with 4 inputs
Port 1` DP Feed 119 Even, Odd
Port 2 DP Feed 118 Even, Odd
Port 3 DP-Single, 110 Even, Odd
Port 4 DP-Dual 129 Even, Odd

On the installation summary screen Trans: is OK (all green), Reception Verified. Everything seems to be O.K.... should I be worried about these red messages in check switch?

As far as signal strength goes, I tried a few transponders (T) to see the range:

118 - T5 (73), T6 (80), T3 (84)
119 - Several, >100
118 - T6 (82), T8 (80)
110 - T6 (101), T5 (94)
129 - T5 (80), T6 (73), T8 (70), T9 (85)

129 was the one I was worried about... anyway just wanted to post this for others in this area with a 1000+.

I still have the 61.5 up on the roof next to the 1000+ if I need to toggle out the 129.

What is the difference between UHF and UHF pro?
