Dish 1000.2 WA aligned, I think.....

There are still MPEG2 SD locals on 129, which is probably why the check switch recognized 129. The OP would have to check whatever transponder is being used for a spotbeam that covers his area to check signal strength for 129 on a 311. There is also a "What's on Dish?" slate channel on 129 in MPEG2 SD in the 9500 channel range, so whatever transponder that channel is on could also be used to check signal strength on a 311.
Hey crodrules, can you give me a couple specific SD channel numbers on 129 that aught to be viewable on a 311?
I've got one receiver running on the 1000.2, logical to want to see it select a channel. Check switch has all 3 birds recognized.
"What's on Dish?" is channel 9599. You can also check channel 998. As for the MPEG2 SD local channels, it doesn't look like any of them cover Florida.

Try 4563, the Arts Channel...
Arts is channel 9406. Also, 3ABN is available on channel 9393.

I didn't see my Miami/Palm Beach Fla locals listed on 129, currently get them SD from 110 or119, will I get them HD from 110 or 119 or are they EA only?
Doesn't matter to me really, seldom watch save news every now and then.
Any yes, the above channels work fine! 9599, 988, 9406 and 9393.

Your Miami HD channels are located on 119 and 129. You need a receiver that can receive HD to see them. Your 311s are not HD capable....
