Hi everybody
I have a problem with diseqc 1.2
I have a 4 port diseqc with 3 satellites working on it (Ku band)
I notice that HORizontal channels with High frequencies can't be viewed, no signal on them.
I was told that this is because the cable is too long, about 70-80 meters.

Is this correct?
Anything can be done?

Thanks in advance

Thanks for your reply
My receiver is Mutant 200s
LNB fugi 0.3 db
Dish is prifix 180 cm
No motor, the dish is fixed
And the problem is with high frequencies on hotbird 13 east
Frequencies like 11054 H and 11785 H and many other horizontal frequencies have no signal.
I live in Egypt by the way.
Thanks

Were you able to receive those "HORizontal channels with High frequencies" before, and now you can't?

Can you receive any horizontal channels at all?

No problems with vertical channels?

This is a central dish in a new building where I moved a while ago.
Vertical channels are ok.
Only horizontal channels are weak or without signal, for high frequencies.
Hotbird is very well received in Egypt with even smaller dishes like 120, this one is 240 cm.
The lnb setup is universal, diseqc 1.2

Thanks very much for your replies.

When you say "Central Dish" are other people in the building using the same Dish, if so is anyone else having the same issue?

Any 22KHz switches being used?

DiSEqC 1.2 is usually used for Motor control. Can you try 1.1?

As a test, you could try setting the LNB settings to:
LNB: Standard
L.O. - 10600
22KHZ - ON

Yes

I don't know

How is that?

Tried but the same result.

Thank you very much for your reply and effort

If more people are having the same issue then its not your settings in the receiver. You might want to try either a powered multiswitch or a new cable

As Iceberg said - could be cable. Take a close look at the cable, here in the US we need to use "RG-6" and not "RG-59".

Check with others.

Can you connect directly at the Dish?

Thank you all for your replies

I will try to connect directly to the dish.
