I have a dual output (H+V) P* LNB that I want to try on the 90cm CM just to see if it would give me enough quality to make RTV watchable. Do I need a multiswitch - which I don't have - or can I combine the 2 with a DiSeqc switch?

I think a Diseqc would work, but you'd have to simulate 2 satellites, one for the Vertical polarity and one for the Horizontal polarity. A little kludgy maybe . RTV is Horizontal polarity, so you actually don't need the Vertical polarity at all. For your purpose , just hook up the cable directly to the H port on the lnbf.
:)

agreed with brent. Just use the H side

but later on a multiswitch would be easier if you motorize the dish

Dish is already motorized. If it was fixed I'd just use the H port as suggested. The multiswitch would go between the LNB and the motor, correct?

EBay has them pretty cheap. Heck get a 4x4 then you could add a DBS LNB to it too :)
(and it seems the 4x4's go cheaper than the 3x4's)
