Discs That Will Not Play

Magnavox (Funai)NB500
Tropic Thunder (Dreamworks)
I rented this disc yesterday, wouldn't play last night... no defects visible on disc... returned it today and got another one with the same results... "Playback may not be available on this disc, please eject"
Have never had a HD disc of either format do this to me...

Make sure to report this problem to the tech. support. Perhaps they will issue a patch sooner.

Tropic THunder played fine on the BD30. Looked and sounded great.

Took the second one back and got a coupon for a free rental with no problems... Hastings

After getting my Sony and moving the Magnavox to the Bedroom, it won't play any BD's at all... only Dvd's and AVC HD discs...

Yup... I haven't tried moving back to HT room but I doubt if that would make a difference, for now I'm happy with AVC HD's, DishHD from my 622 and HD DVD's from my A2 (need to finish hooking up H20 in there)although this is the bigger screen by 26"...

Im sub'd to two Funai threads for the Insignias I bought. There has not been any updates and there is a thread at avs for discs with issues. Hopefully Funai will issue a patch soon to help out.
