Do I need a Diseqc switch for an LNBF controlled by the 4DTV?

No.
If you use an LNBF like the BSC621 or DMX741, in the 4DTV's setup menu you need to select the "LNBF" and "Rotated 90".
If you want Ku band on the 4DTV, you will need to run a second RG-6 line from the LNBF.

That's what I thought. The cabling is no problem since I bought another 100 foot ribbon cable assembly which, of course contains two RG-6 runs along with the polarator and motor cabling. Anyway, after the comment about LNBF stability in another thread, I'm not sure if I want to get an LNBF for the new dish. It would be cheaper than buying a C and Ku LNB plus corotor, though.

For C Band, there should be no problems.
Ku can be a little tricky to get dialed in.

When I had a 4DTV, I had no problems with C Band using a BSC621.
