disable inactivity mode

my POS 622 has had the inactivity mode disabled for some time and it worked, no inactivity sreen. During the past week it has begun going into inactivity and it is still disabled. I tried resetting it but did not work. Has something changed? Anybody have any magic settings to make it stop going into inactivity again?

Set a daily wake up timer after your update.

I have done that (setup an autotune) and it worked fine for more than a year but in the last 2 weeks now does not work and inactivity screen shows up again.

Set daily VCR....make sure VCR timer from 11:35am to 11:34am....23 hrs 59 mins and disable inactivity...set any daily update to 12:30pm...wont go off.

I found the problem. Apparently the last software update L622, changed my 2 manual timers from daily to once. Just on a hunch I checked the manual timers and found this change. I set them back to daily and now all is well. Why does Dish not write bugfree firmware? Did their programers train at Microsoft?
