DIRT Closed Captioning Question

on CW channel 54 Austin, TX the closed captioning doesn't show on the CW programs but does on the local news right afterwards. I've been emailing with the station and their digital and analog is sending cc so they're left thinking it's dish.
Please advise.

It's on "the 100", Wednesdays at 8 pm CST. Info says CC. Zip Code is 78643.

Oh. Hey, still not working. I contacted the station, and cc is going out over the air. When the network shows go off and the local news comes on, cc works. So it's something screwy between dish and national CW network.
I really need this fixed, since I can't hear what they are saying. It's only on that one channel.

Prima facie, if it is working on the news, it should work on the programs.

Is this with the satellite feed or the OTA signal into your receiver?

Dish gets all their local programming from the station, not the networks, there is no direct feed from CW to Dish here, it is usually picked up by Dish with an antenna somewhere in the area, more rarely with a fiber feed.

I do not have an ota antenna. They're about 100 miles away, and their broadcast has cc. Just not me.

Have you tried any of the other CC services in the dish receiver menu? I know that, at times, some channels have CC feeds with only the dialog, and others with dialog and other sound descriptions.

I have, earlier. I don't often watch anything on the CW network, but just happened to notice as the CW show was over and local news was on cc worked
