I just discovered that the DVR will not work with the SD television. To record for the SD set requires two DVR's. I will have to purchase another..out of the pan and into the fire. My wife is furious at me for making the change...and with a twenty four month commitment.

My WAG is that he's having a problem with the TV-2 modulated output.

Why? They work with SD sets. I am just as confused as everyone else though. If I had to guess, I agree with the above poster that he is having a problem with the TV2 output. That or he changed to D* and wasnt aware that one box wouldnt run two sets.
