I'm not expecting it until the end of the year, and as late as the Super Bowl.

What they should do is take the ratings of those watching LIVE Only .... I mean for the actual watching numbers, not those that are watching later, which is what some were doing. And as a side note, Amazon has agreed to have Nielsen include TNF in the regular TV ratings. It will be interesting to see how much drop off there is from linear TV.
Figuring the de facto ratings for streamers is hard, because most do a lot of spin to make how many are watching seem a lot larger than it is. Sometime you can get the “minutes watched” number, which is how they do it, then take how long a series is and then divide, but this is still not the same as Nielsen.
Viewers hoping to tune into AMC+ to watch the series finale of Better Call Saul were hit with some bad news when the streaming service experienced an outage. AMC+ crashed during the final Better Call Saul episode, titled "Saul Gone," with some viewers who were signed in watching the episode logged out suddenly. When trying to access the episode again, watchers received an error message. Better Call Saul is a spinoff of Breaking Bad starring Bob Odenkirk's Saul Goodman. Naturally, fans patiently waiting to see how the spinoff ended weren't pleased to be shut out of the AMC service, taking to social media to voice their displeasure.
The internet did not collapse, AMC+ did, I do not believe AMC has the NFL.Better Call Saul Series Finale Crashes AMC+

So a show that gets about 1 to 1 1/2 million total viewers, which was on linear TV as well, and which does not have the near absolute immediacy need to be seen "live", still crashes the internet. And they are going to show up to 13 HD football games at once?
Right.
TNF and ST, coming soon to a commercial establishment near you. Via satellite.
Its a crying shame that commercial establishments are stuck with directv and can't access any of these featuresLooking forward to the entire slate of Sunday games getting some of these features and where it grows from there.
Amazon is also debuting other new technology features. On most platforms (it’s still working on the technology with Roku), Amazon will give users the ability to see real-time statistics on screen using its X-Ray technology. In addition to standard stats such as yards and touchdowns, they will include so-called next-generation figures, such as average time to throw for quarterbacks and yards after contact for running backs and receivers. Players will wear uniforms enhanced with Amazon Web Services chips, allowing for instant updates.Amazon will also have a customer package of highlights via X-Ray that update through the game for viewers who missed the early action and want to catch up. For Fire TV users, viewers will be able to speak commands such as “show me stats” or “play the last touchdown” into the remote control. Those features will be ready for the Thursday Night Football regular season opener.Continuing a trend put in place by Disney’s ESPN and Paramount Global, Amazon will also offer alternative broadcasts for people who want a less serious telecast, beginning with the popular comedy YouTube group Dude Perfect. 1 game isn't or shouldn't be a big deal, but when you do 13 That may be an issue ...The internet did not collapse, AMC+ did, I do not believe AMC has the NFL.
You would have a better point if Prime or Apple TV collapsed.
And again, NFL Football has been streaming for awhile now, Paramount+ shows Live Games, Peacock also, then on OTT services like YTTV and Hulu Live.
By the way, the last Super Bowl was on Peacock, 11.2 million watched it on there, it did not collapse either.
This is called ST Max ... they been doing the same thing for Years now, along with Fantasy stats ...Looking forward to the entire slate of Sunday games getting some of these features and where it grows from there.

WAH ....Its a crying shame that commercial establishments are stuck with directv and can't access any of these features
But all you NFLST only on DirecTV fans keep writing that it will never attract more then the 2 million that subscribe now to ST once it goes streaming, that is a lot less then the 12 million that watched Better Call Saul.1 game isn't or shouldn't be a big deal, but when you do 13 That may be an issue ...
Hang in there Directv, your still needed.
1. Who says more than that 2 million actually WANT to watch the NFL on a Season basis, just because Amazon or Apple have the Ability to have all these others doesn't mean they WILL.But all you NFLST only on DirecTV fans keep writing that it will never attract more then the 2 million that subscribe now to ST once it goes streaming, that is a lot less then the 12 million that watched Better Call Saul.
You guys keep assuming that Apple/Amazon will fail, yet they have proven over and over again they know how to be successful, a lot better then AT&T in the last 7 years.
Not with Yankee broadcasts..sports is live..the stuff you talk about are not...on demand movies and shows are easy..live sports..you get one shotBut all you NFLST only on DirecTV fans keep writing that it will never attract more then the 2 million that subscribe now to ST once it goes streaming, that is a lot less then the 12 million that watched Better Call Saul.
