Olympic cleanup and DNC/US Open/NFL prep

D10 TPN 13 has been cleared by moving those channels to the slots that used to have channels like TV Japan, Bally San Diego and Longhorn

Note that the spot beam tpngrid has been updated this week. Each transponder has the names of the primary DMAs for the chennels on that TID. Previously I was only doing that for the Ku band transponders.

Pioneer PBS (KWCM Appleton, MN) returned to Directv Minneapolis networks last week. They are still working on getting back on Sioux Falls via KSMN Worthington. Its a PBS station in western MN and is one of 3 main PBS stations in the Minneapolis DMA (the other being KTCA Minneapolis and KAWE/KAWB Bemidji/Brainerd). They also get KTCI (2ndary Mpls PBS)

DirecTV returns YOUR Pioneer PBS.

While Pioneer PBS serves two DirecTV feeds, one to the Twin Cities and one to Sioux Falls, the Twin Cities branch has reopened our signal back to you.

That's the way its gone. I didn't really miss the station. I looked to see if there was a way to stream it at a reasonable cost, but no. I'm not going to get it OTA. The transmitter is around 100 miles away, on the other side of several mountains.

I ran an extra data capture today about 4pm ET to look at what channels were affected by the Disney dispute. Here is the Change Analysis. Some of the changes are just normal sports/cinema remappings because of the afternoon data capture.

Some notes, CW affiliation changes in multiple markets took place yesterday. As of this afternoon, no sign of the replacement subchannel affiliates for Norfolk, Utica, Santa Barbara, Wichita Falls or Terre Haute.

The CW affiliations for Augusta GA, Lafayette LA and Monroe LA will be changing next month.

Start TV is testing on channel 9084, it has also been testing on the stream server for the past 2 weeks.

116 PPVHD and 117 PPV have returned for the upcoming South American World Cup qualifiers.

Also, ESPN+ for Business is not part of the dispute as that's all handled by Joe Hand Promotions.
