Go to the current thread - TPN data of 5/4/09 (a sticky thread in this forum.)

In the PDF doc by_networknum_090504 check on page 85. All the Network Number 679 entries are for San Diego.

The document networklist_090504.pdf would have told you that San Diego is Network Number 679.

Good Luck.

Hard to believe that the SDO locals in HD come off of 103 #16 though - was under the impression all were off of 99? . Sig strength on 103C TP 16 is at 100%, yet he is still getting pixilation ONLY on the locals - rest of HD channels are fine. Locals in SD are fine.

You sure that the HDs come off of this sat & TP or is that the SDs?

Mike,

a. You are right - when San Diego first got HD Locals, on 4/19/2006, they did come off 99W. However, they transitioned to the 103W (D10) some time ago.

b. Your HD locals will be on the 103S (Spot), not on the 103C (Conus). Your signal strength on 103C, TP 16 has nothing to do with local channels. For the San Diego DMA, HD Locals are all from D10, TPN 16.

c. To read the chart, note that the HD signals are listed as the station call letters, while the SD signals are listed as a four character CCNN notation, where CC is the DMA code (SD in our case) and NN is the channel number. For example, KGTV is ABC HD, and SD10 is the KGTV ABC SD signal.
