Doesn't the installer get extra commission if all the receivers he installs phone home?

As has been repeated many times here, the installer is full of it. You need zero phone lines connected.

As for the camper receiver, make sure it is SWM compatible.

So I guess I never got the memo.

I have two SWM connected DVRs, both of them are connected to both the Internet and to a phone line. But it'd be a lot more convenient if I could ditch the phone lines. They're able to do everything now over the Internet? Even sports subscription location verification?
