DIRECTV Repackaging

Due to repackaging, A&E (A&E, Vice, History and Lifetime), TruTV and TCM channels have been removed from the SELECT and ENTERTAINMENT packages on DIRECTV via Satellite, and from the ENTERTAINMENT and Live a Little packages on DIRECTV via Internet/DIRECTV STREAM.

Eligible customers may request to keep A&E, TruTV or TCM in their channel lineup at no additional cost until 12/31/2024.

• To add-on A&E channels – eligibility requires the customer to have been on these impacted packages prior to 3/1/2024.
• To add-on TruTV & TCM channels – eligibility requires the customer to have been on these impacted packages prior to 4/15/2024.
• How does the customer add-on?
• Customers will need to call in to customer service (800-531-5000) – the agent will process the add on.

So today I went online (Directv stream) to change my programming from Entertainment to Choice (for the RSN) and noticed this popup when I logged in. I thought they would stay in the package as long as I dont make changes??? (I havent made changes yet as it wont let me change my CC online)
