I wonder why E* doesn't even offer Scranton Wilkes-barre at all in HD? OR even why I can't watch SD locals either this morning on E*.I wonder why they don't have ABC, FOX, and TBN like Dish does in the Beaumont market?

Not a bad deal is right. For $99 I may buy another HR-20 and drop my R15.
I remember someone saying this market required the KA setup.
Do you have an account with DirecTv now? If so you can check your options online...So the slimline dish would be needed? If so would Directv come out and install it if I wanted these locals and would they charge me for the upgrade?
Wow, that Nascar Hot Pass deal sounds sweet. Is that a typo?! Only $40 for the whole year? When would this go into effect? As of right now, I'm seeing 4 payments of $22.25 on D*'s website for Hot Pass. Any more clarification on this deal? Thanks.

Below is a recap of recent and planned launches. (Note: Subject to Change)
If you need the Ka/Ku dish then DirecTV will come out and install it plus give you one H20/21 for free... you'd have to pay for extra receivers to have locals on other TVs.
Plus start the 24 month commitment clock over again.
This I do not know about, but in past LiL upgrades (where you had to go to a 3 LNB dish or the second dish for the 72.5 satellite) the upgrade was without commitment. I would think this is true again, but I'll have to see if I can find that out.
Thats because nobody in their right mind is going to pay $80 for crappy camera views, when the race is televised anyway. I'm not sure its worth $40.Maybe $20!I can't pass up the Nascar Deal for 40$, usually not into it that much, but just can't pass up the great deal.
DTV is moving the right way, and the good deals keep coming!
