Since NASA is already MPEG4 Ka band, I wish they would get some common sense and change it to the HD version.
Also, why not throw up some of the extras like HSN HD and QVC HD on 110...

Remembering that DIRECTV satellites often take several months after launch to be put into active service.D14, it's supposed to fly some time next year.

I would of course like to have more HD channels but I would be way more enthused if the broadcasters could start supplying a 1080P signal instead of the 1080i and 720P being shoved down our throats now.
An interesting theory, but there's no evidence correlating quick turn-up to shortened life.I'd rather wait an extra month or so with the trade off being a longer life span, thank you.
