That is what they recommend, but before my last speed increase I had 18mbps, and while it would buffer at the start, it would ramp up to and hold 4k with netflix.4k would require much higher @ 25Mbs

True but this is about Directv Now. Directed toward those that think streaming is unfeasible. Most people can easily stream if they don't have a data cap.4k would require much higher @ 25Mbs

That I'm really not sure. The way Netflix works it throttles the data stream to work with the customer. I can see something like that working out. Netflix has this streaming thing down to a science.and you dont think they will eventually get 4k streaming?
