The HR34 HDGUI software is still in-house. They're up to 0x0535. We got the H/HR2x HDGUI at 0x0552.

Not before Friday. That's when I get my HR34. Really, I say right after New Years. If you had to guess, how long would you say before the HD guide is released for the HR34? I love it on my H25s, what a huge improvement!
Maybe, but I for one wouldn't trust maybe. I would tell 'em of your need of a SWiM-16 once you have the RID number of the HR34, if you buy it from a third party. Please let me know if I have this correct:
I currently have 4 cables coming out of a 5-LNB dish, going into my den. I have a powered 8-output multiswitch, and I have 3 HR2x DVRs hooked to 6 of those 8 outputs.
If I want to add an HR34, I could do that online at DIRECTV - #1 Satellite TV - Beats Cable TV w/ More HD & Sports, and DirecTV will automatically schedule an upgrade to a SWiM-16 hookup, since the HR34 can't even connect to the older multiswitch technology...
Is that right?
Hey guys, I was thinking of trying this puppy out and coming back to Directv. When ordering online, it is an option at $99, which is fine by me. Do they have anything against installing it in a house getting only one HDDVR? I just like the fact it can record 5 programs at once.
Well if you got more televisions, up to three H25 seems to be FREE, except for their monthly charge.Hey guys, I was thinking of trying this puppy out and coming back to Directv. Hard to believe this bogus Samsung television requirement is still going on after a week.
My Samsung is a 6900 model...does that work for HR34?
