I didn't know this, it could be, I haven't had a Non DVR in many years ....
It doesn't pay to not have them be DVRs once you have the first one.

I have an HR24-500. At 3:25AM Tuesday morning March 1 was a software update 0459. I know this because I was awake watching TV when it happened. It asked if I wanted to download or delay. That's when & why I posted that sarcastic remark about downloading 0459 on the CE thread for this past week. Anyway,I also noticed that my guide only went so far afterwards. Now everything is alright.

Btw, why haven't you turned the DONK off ?

I meant to say 7 days (I guess I was pushing the 12hr+ button to check and probably drinking a 12oz at the same time so the number 12 was on my brain lol)

The "Donk" does not bother me at all.
In fact I rarely hear it.

Are you a previous TIVO user ?
The DONK was associated with TIVO back in the day, that's why I ask,till not too long ago we didn't have a device to wake you up when leaning on the remote ....
