DirecTv DVR's come with UHF remotes?

DO the DirecTv DVR's come with UHF remotes? If not can you get one that will work with it?

DIRECTV will be offering a UHF upgrade for the R15 in the next month for around $45.

Other RF remote upgrades are currently available for $59.

What exactly does the upgrade consist of? I assume it would include a different (UHF) remote, but is there anything else needed for the receiver, etc???
