YEAH CUBS Fans rejoice WGN in HD

IS WGN the same as WGN America ?

I see WGNHD on 307, but do not see anything listed as being in HD till the News late in the day.

Unfortunately, I don't see a Cubs game on today.

That said, when I scroll ahead to Thursdays game at 1:05 est is in HD

Yea, When I had Dish, WGN did not have a ton of HD programing, Cubs games and news, really cant think of much HD programming they had?

Hopefully Travel channel has stuff in HD later in the day, what they have on now fills the screen but is definitely not HD... (infomercials) ...

Pretty much anything outside Paid Programming is HD. Too bad Bridget Beaches was cancelled.

They also show syndicated Boston Legal in HD and late at night they have the Bob and Tom Show in HD. As for Travel, it has a lot of HD. I'm happy to not give up Man v. Food and No Reservations in HD in my provider switch. Anyway, my installer cannot come soon enough!

The OTA tuner in the AM21 is better than the one in the HR20-700, .

i disagree with this. the ota tuner on my HR20-700 picks up channels that my AM21 on the HR21-100 doesn't.

at the time we go to work we would've never seen it anyway. the channels i believe were turned on after 6am.

Hmmm....interesting. My OTA channel signal readings are always higher on my AM21 than the HR20-700. Even now the AM21 can pick up my local My Network TV channel but the HR20-700 can't.

yeah thats weird. i'm using a swm lnb and have a diplexer for the ota signals. the hr20 is closer to the switch then the hr21 but its about a 20 foot difference.

Did the H20-100 have the LG tuner like the H20-600 had?

I know the tuner in the H20-100 is a lesser 4th generation tuner but I don't know who manufactured it.
