directv android app problem

I recently upgraded my phone to ice cream sandwich and found that I cannot set vod titles to record through the DirecTV app. Everything else seems to work fine. I can even search and browse on demand titles, but when I click into one to record it the app crashes.
This app worked fine on the previous version of android.

Dumb question but did you already uninstall and reinstall the app?
