DIRECTV Adds 22 Live Streaming Channels

DirecTV said it has added 22 channels from Viacom, Turner Broadcasting, Univision Smithsonian and OWN to its DirecTV Everywhere lineup of live, out-of-home streaming offerings.

New channels added to the DirecTV Everywhere portfolio of mobile and web apps today are: BET, MTV, MTV2, Nickelodeon, TV Land, truTV, Cartoon Network, Comedy Central, Spike, VH1, Palladia, CMT, HLN and CNN; OWN, TBS, Turner Classic Movies, TNT; Univision’s UniMas, Galavision and Univision and the Smithsonian Channel.

Ok guys, answer me a question ( I don't stream other than Netflix).
When you use this D* streaming, is it the same that you would see on your TV, or is it all previously shown shows and movies ?

So to summarize, they have 124 channels available for in-home streaming (same wifi as your receivers only), and 89 channels available or out-of-home streaming, meaning any wifi or cellular connection. These are available for live programming via directv.com or the Directv app.

Obviously you can only stream channels that are in the programming you subscribe to, so the total for many people will be less as there is lots of premium channels in there.
