Directv 99(ca)

I noticed that, although D14 is operational, I still have no 99(ca) satellite in the list on my receiver. What's up with that? Any input greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Not sure, but I suspect that your receiver doesn't display 99ca yet, but will receive channels from that satellite.
The next firmware update should enable the display.

All the receivers are receiving signals from D14, even though they might not have 99ca in their satellite list. As jdspencer says, 99ca will probably be in the list after the next firmware update.

The signal strength screen is a part of the software just targeted at the user and tech support, but is not an essential part to receiving the signal from the satellite.

99CA will be added during the next software update, but the launch of the new satellite does not necessarily mean they need to rush/push an update.
