Directv 14 testing is nearly complete.

They have filed with FCC to begin drift to 99W over an approximate 30 day period beginning on or about January 12.

I hope that nothing broke on the way to orbit. It will be really interesting to see what this satellite will bring to the bandwidth table.

Right now it is parked 143 Km above geostationary and is at 79+ West with longitude changing ~1.83 degrees per day.

Drifting west at about 0.04 degrees/day (Tuesday Epoch measurement).

Looks like they will/may have it parked at home any time now.
