Direct vs Dish mounts

Can a Direct dish be mounted in a E* mount?

I wasn't sure how they differed. I know the tubes were a different size at one time.

The Slimlines have a bigger mast, but the Phase III's on down are the same size...(Slimline needed for HD)

The mast for the SD Direct dish strips out to easy. Find it hard to also lock down the Ka Ku's on a pole mount....been using self tappers

I've never had one strip out...of course, I don't torque the bolts to "star torque"
