Direct Tv receivers

I have 4 brand new in the box Direct Tv receivers that are 4 yrs old. Does anyone know of a way to make these FTA ?

DirecTV receivers are for DirecTV only.
Sell them on ebay and buy an FTA Receiver and Dish.

Your previous post was plenty clear.
You got two good answers.

There are no mods to DirecTV nor Dish receivers to make them into FTA receivers.
See previous post for what is "FTA".
I did not make any assumption you intended to "crack" the receiver to obtain pay-programming.

I have several of each brand of receivers.
The universal RCA remotes have been good to use on my RCA TV, and I've culled a few spare parts off some of the boards.

Since both companies will give you "free" receivers if you sign up, there isn't a large market for 4-year old hardware.

There have been several recent discussions on the forum of good FTA receivers going for as little as $35 on eBay.
