I used my CC, but I've read that you can call Roku if you need to set it up without DC/CC/PP.

Roku's Online Chat is also very helpful for those without a card or Paypal.
 
Roku order 7/2 never came yesterday, and the supervisor that was to call me after tracking down the Roku never called. So I called the Loyalty Dept again last night. Had to repeat the story 3 times, (twice to the CSR that answered, he wouldn't just transfer me!) Andea of the Loyalty Dept, verified again that the Roku box was shipped on 7/2, and said I should get it in two days. We will see. It seems everyone here, even those who order the box after I did, have received their Rokus. I hate waiting....!

I never got an email or anything either. The only reason I even called was because I read this forum post. Just call and act like you want to cancel, and if you qualify they will offer it to you, took me 8 minutes on the phone.

I did not recieve the info via email as well, just another reason why its great to be a satellite Guy :)

You are not alone. I was also approved by the loyalty on 7/1....& was promised by the loyalty dept that it will be overnight to me via Fedex...& that I should have it by 7/3. Called back on 7/5 asked where's my Roku...was told that I should have it by 7/9. Still waiting...& will wait this whole week. So actually I am worst off then you. :)

I also was told on 7/2 that Roku would be shipped and I should expect it in 3-5 business days. I haven't received it yet either. 5 business days will be today, so we'll see if it comes today.
 
Do we need a Roku forum here on Sat guys now that many of us have one. After getting the free one from Dish I may get a 2nd one for another hdtv.

I requested to Scott that he should add a separate roku forum.Think it would be a good idea.

Ok, so I posted Yesterday that I got the glitch and my Roku wasn't sent. Two hours later it shows up on my front steps, so I had a second one coming. I actually called Dish, against my wife's wishes, to tell them that it showed up. Turns out the guy rushed my order so fast, I might still get the second one. If that's the case I will send it back. One over $60 piece of free equipment is good enough. Don't get me wrong, it was Dish's error and I could set it up in my second living room. But I don't want to be a piece of crap over a lost channel. I know I'll slammed by some here, but it's my honest sediments.

Anybody that slams you for your honesty really ought find a bit themselves! ;)
 
Turned down the Roku (have a new bluray on the way that includes Amazon), but got 2 years of $10 off/month, plus 6 months of half price HBO. They also offered $100 install for Hopper set up, mulling that over.
Thank you to SG, otherwise I would not have known about these offers.
