Did the 508 get a new software push?

Last night, while I was enjoying my new and improved 811 (software fix), I noticed my 508 turn on by itself and then a few minutes later it turned back off.

Does anyone know if there was a software push

I don't recall the version I have and I can't check it since I am at work

But any ideas then what might have caused it to turn on, then off about 5 minutes later
