nearly 3 months after retiring from a long 46 year radio career, which a majority was spent in the DFW radio market at 99.5 KPLX (currently known as 99.5 The Wolf) in the 80s and 96.3 KSCS from the 90s all the way up to his retirement, Dallas-Fort Worth radio legend Terry Dorsey passed away over the weekend at his new farm home in Illinois. this morning KSCS did a tribute show with Dorsey's longtime radio partner Mark "Hawkeye" Louis and everyone else at KSCS talk about what good memories they had for Dorsey. guest who called in included some of the biggest names in country music past and present.
Dorsey will be missed in the DFW area big time, at least he got to retire from radio unlike the sudden passing of Kidd Kraddick 2 years ago this Summer.
