Derek Anderson Revisited

Well....It was nice to see the team actually move the ball down field yesterday. It's the first time all year we've seen that. Kudos to Mangini for playing Massaquoi.......now get Robsikie in there and I'll stop complaining.

I agree. If there is such a thing as a moral victory, I'll take it. This team played their hearts out there yesterday. Unfortunately, someone had to win... or tie. Palmer made a play on that 4th and 10 run for a 1st down which setup the game winning field goal.

I'm going to stay positive on this one. I see signs of improvement from all areas. As long as we continue to progress, I'll be happy.

DA still had a ridiculous INT in the endzone.....he's gotta learn to stop that.

Yep. In the end it probably came down to turnovers. The INT and the fumble/take-away from Harrison that turned into a Bengal TD. Too many drops by the receivers too. Especially in the first half. There were at least 5 balls by DA that hit receivers in the helmet, chest or hands that they didn't catch.

How about Massaquoi though, wow! He caught everything in site!

What I don't understand is, Cleveland has TWO quarterbacks who have played, and this forum has only ONE thread for them! What is that all about?

Our Opponents so far: 13-2! Not an easy start...

Just thought of something...

Until yesterday's loss by the Ravens, our opponents were perfect! Also, someone had to lose the Bengals/Broncos game, so every game that could have been won by the first 4 opponents, has been.

With that said and the progress I saw on Sunday, this Monday I am a lot more optimistic than in weeks past.

Next up, you get a team that looked REALLY bad yesterday- my Buffalo Bills.

The Browns have owned the Bills recently; there's no reason to think that won't change.

Will probably be TO's return to form game, I don't see it being very close. Browns have allowed 118 points this year... Bills have allowed 110 but that's skewed by the last couple of games where you were controlled by the other team's defense. Browns have just been crushed in all but one of their losses. I don't think the team has the ethic or discipline to come back from this heart breaker, they're too busy worrying about fines and stuff from their coach.

Only gets harder too, if they don't beat the Bills they're going winless until at least week 12 when they play the Bengals again then the next opportunity for a win will be @ KC and hosting Oakland in weeks 15 and 16. Cleveland has given up the most yards rushing than any other team though, so KC and Oakland aren't going to exactly be a cakewalk either.

Sabres, coincidently enough, last year's game against the Bills was the last regular season game the Browns won!

detroit and KC are the only winable games IMO.

What about Oakland?

After yesterday, I must say this team isn't nearly as bad as I thought. Like I said in another thread, our schedule so far hasn't done us any favors either. Going into Sunday, our first 4 opponents were undefeated (with the exception of the Bengals. They played the Broncos, which were our week 2 opponent. Someone had to lose).

Oh please. The victim sounds way too innocent.
Would you believe BronBron??

"I've never crossed paths with Braylon before, but it seems like there's a little jealousy going on with Braylon and me and my friends. I have no idea why. I've never said anything to Braylon at all. But for him to do that is very childish. My friend is 130 pounds. Seriously. It's like hitting one of my kids. It doesn't make sense." -- LeBron James

Oh god thats funny... change the inflight snack...

Yeah, I guess there's more to this story that I originally thought. The Cleveland airwaves were all over this story yesterday. If true, I agree with LeBron. It was a childish act by Braylon and he needs to carry himself better than that in and out of the public light.

No worries though. The wrath of Mangini will have the last say with Braylon. He's beginning to wear out his welcome here in Cleveland anyways. Him not being able to catch balls is one thing, but now the off the field incidents?! Oh boy....
