how do u Disabled folder compression ?

Go to My Computer, right click on the C drive and selecte properties, then under General uncheck "Compress drive to save space".

One of the main reasons this thing comes without an optical drive is to maintain a zero spindle configuration. Solid state hard drive and no optical drive means greatly enhanced on-battery time. Once you start spinning motors, the battery life goes down dramatically.

I have been waiting for my Mini for three weeks. Just got an e-mail saying it will be delayed until 11/24. Cancelled order and now it is off to Best Buy for the ASUS. Costco has the ASUS with a 6 cell battery, for $399. Double the battery life...should be a good thing.
