DEI, Ganassi to merge

say hello to earnhardt ganassi racing in 2009. the two struggling nascar teams announced their merger for next year. somewhere dale sr's spirit is fuming as the company he worked so hard to build has gone down in flames. anybody, who thinks wicked stepmom will make the business decisions over chip ganassi, go straight to jail, do not pass go, do not collect $200!!

actually, associated press is reporting the announcement but nothing official yet.

them going down in flames was going to happen after JR left. it was just a matter of time. the wicked step mother should have given him the 50% he was asking for and deserved IMO and things would be a lot better. SR worked hard to get that team where it is at and in 1 year she has torn it down. very sad.

wicked stepmom hasnt made very many good ones.

the merger was the frosting on the cake. there wasn't anyway DEI had a chance to continue when Jr walked. funny thing, though, i seem to recall one of the things dale sr liked about teresa was her business savy. believe she had been business manager for her uncles (tommy houston) busch team. dale had the driving talent and she had the brains. i think there marriage was as much business as it was love.

but teresa's big mistake was not honoring dale's legacy through jr. the whole reason DEI existed was for jr and jr alone, not for teresa!
