I am trying to decide what to do here. Do I purchase a A3 for my bedroom tonight and pay the $119.00 price at amazon hoping the price goes down within 30 days to get the difference refunded to me. Or wait to see what ever announcement comes. Also my thought is that I could send out for a second set of 5 hd dvd's with the second purchase. As long as I gift the second one to my mother

If you are probably going to do it, i would just do it then. If there's a major price drop it will happen in the next 30 days IMO.

If you miss it, you're really not investing a whole lot anyways, especially after the 5-free.

Edit: If Amazon dropped them another 50% or something ridiculous, you'll lose them all to resellers and then have to buy one elsewhere...

I will probably order it tomorrow, I do not forsee a drop of 50% yet. At least not within the next 30 days. I will think it over after work tomorrow.

Then we're talking about a potential loss of a day or two of lunch money really, so ask how much time/effort that's worth wondering about .

The real question is whether to do it at all. if you have convinced yourrrself that it isa good idea go for it.
